Like everyone else, I had strong feelings about the Sept. 11 attacks. These took musical form spontaneously one night when I should have been practicing, and continued for the next several evenings. In the span of a few minutes the music takes the listener through the various stages of mourning, from disbelief to anger, and finally to acceptance.
